Hi!  I'm Ashley.

I'm a Bay Area native and a recent(ish) L.A. transplant living by the beach in Santa Monica.

I'm a lawyer in real life, and a photographer for fun.

I have a lot of ideas and very few plans.

I believe you can never have enough cocktail parties, storage space, or cheese.

I created this blog at a time in my life when everything was changing and everything was new—I was just about to graduate from law school, had recently gotten married, and was making plans for a new career and a new place to call home.  I'm no longer that newly-graduated, or newly-wed, or newly-L.A., but so much about this city and this life still feels new to me every day.
