Emily and Kelsey called their wedding "homemade," and it really was. Emily's friends did her hair, set up the decorations, made all the bouquets and centerpieces, DJ'ed the reception, and a friend also officiated their ceremony (accompanied by readings from Emily's mom and Kelsey's dad). Their wedding cake was made by a friend, and Emily's mom made additional cakes and truffles. The rings were Emily's grandparents', which she had re-sized for her and Kelsey. And my mom and I, of course, took the pictures. The guests weren't just observers at this wedding; they were an integral part of the day, and that's what made it so special.
A fabulous day, from start to finish.
